Sarasota is medium fawn with a lovely handle, good density and crimp which she has passed on to her cria. She has an even temperament.
Sarasota is good mom with lots of milk. Her first cria with us was a beautiful white male - Sampson.
Sarasota & Lancelot produced a lovely light rose grey, Salsa who placed 2nd out of 6 at the 2015 Alpaca Ontario Spring Show.
Her 2015 cria is Smarties, a beautiful bay black female with great sheen and crimp, sired by Valiant.
We bred her to Reflection for a 2016 cria, which produced a lovely dark silver grey female, Serenity, who has amazing fibre.
We were thrilled when Sarasota delivered a stunning medium silver grey male - Valiant's Last Stand. He was the last offspring of Valiant who passed away early 2017 at the age of 14.
What did she produce in 2018 being bred to one of our top young silver grey studs - Prince? Sarasota gave birth to a beautiful silky female August 1st. Princess Sara. She is a beautiful silver grey like her dad, she too produced two beautiful silver grey crias of her own.
Sarasota and Prince did it again! In 2019 they created a dark silver grey male, Zoltan.
Sarasota is on a roll! Her 5th grey cria in a row! We named him Chief Geswanouth, and he has loads of fleece and crimp, he is ready to start his breeding career and is now for sale.
2022 Sarasota has criated another beautiful grey female - Shanti, her sire is Kameron the Grey.
2023 Sarasota has criated yet another beautiful dark silver grey female - Betsy, her sire is Kamelot.
2024 it doesn't seem to matter who Sarasota is bred to she is having beautiful grey crias and this year was not different, bred by Jupiter they criated a beautiful grey male, who is nicknamed Velcro because he sticks close to his buddy Bogey.
The grand finale of Sarasota's breeding cria is a petite light rose grey female named Ginger, sired by Jupiter.
After Ginger is weaned Sarasota will be officially retired and spend her last days relaxing and watching over the crias.
