Co-owned with Heart & Soul Alpacas & Blazing Star Ranch! Purchased 1/2 of this guy 2021 from All Around Alpacas, then becoming partners with Heart & Soul Alpacas on an exceptional male. With a 76 mm follicle density 9.3:1 SP Ratio he became the third densest gray ever tested by Alpaca Consulting as of 2020, with his son, Holy Smoke, claiming the second position. That's quite special! If you were color blind his fleece could compete with even the nicest white. Very uniform in color with a hand to die for. And style? did you say style!!! He is perfect in his comformation, his histogram touts excellent fineness and uniformity. His silver gray color is deep and rich. His phenotype is everything we are looking for. His first fleece is part of the elite A Paca Fun traveling fleece show. Shift is the epitome of the next generation of gray fleece!

You know when you see an animal and in the back of your mind you are thinking - there is something special there... I cant put my finger on it but..... This girl has a weird pattern on her. Its like an abstract painting almost. A splash of fawn on a true black frame. Feminine looking but also solid frame/solid bone. But the aura she carries. Well.... it becomes obvious when you view her offspring. And strongly suggested by her pedigree. Sire side is like the whose who of elite grey. Danko/Rayo Del Sol/Rincon Dams side is Patagonia Salad with Danko heading up the great great back ground. Follow the link above and you will see the mention of Eclipse in the Dam's bio. She is an interesting picture for sure. I just did a histogram on Eclipse at 7 years old. 18.9/4.3/22.7/98.3 Which did not surprise me at all. That is outstanding on paper. She has had two kids here. The first was a fence jumping Troubadour Riddler kid - really very pretty dk fawn male who I sold. Gorgeous fiber. Lost him in a horse trade. The second in 2023 was a Sonic Shift daughter who MIGHT be one of my best cria of 2023. Just stunning brightness/bundling/Staple Length... The daughter (who I named Happy; because she is... ) will certainly be in the show ring for 2024. Im pretty sure she is tux even though her coloring suggests a fading fawn ish.... but we will see. Very excited about this little girl. Thank you Eclipse! I think that Eclipse has much more to offer and I look forward to finding out what that is.
